An airlift is a logistical operation in which supplies, typically food, fuel, and other necessities, are transported by air to a specific location. This is often done when traditional transportation methods are unavailable or insufficient, such as during a natural disaster or in a remote area. Airlifts are also used in military operations to quickly move troops and equipment to a particular location.
